After School Clubs

St. Gwladys offers a wide range of sporting activities, despite the limited space available. Children enjoy cross country, multi-skills, swimming, football, netball, hockey, dance and rounders.

Children of all abilities are encouraged to participate in competitive events and we send teams to the Heolddu Cluster and Urdd competitions. We celebrate the achievements and success of all those children who represent the school. We believe that involvement in sports activities develops a range of skills and promotes team spirit, confidence and self-esteem.

We see our role as facilitating the children’s growth as balanced individuals. We want all our children to develop skills in areas such as music, digital technologies, physical education.
In addition to the sports programme, we offer a wide range of activities which include: reading, science and maths clubs (STEM Lego), choir, multi-skills, netball, rugby, football dance, cross country and cookery.
