About Us

St. Gwladys strives to be at the forefront of all initiatives that will be of benefit to the children. 

It is with this in mind that we do all we can to be at the forefront of a range of initiatives. 

 The school is actively involved in sharing its practice, in a range of curriculum areas, with schools throughout the Consortium.  The staff use professional enquiry to inform their practice and impact positively on the children’s learning outcomes. St. Gwladys also enjoys working collaboratively with the Cluster schools: for example, on a Curriculum Design Project: STEM.  (Science and Technology).

Previously one of the pilot schools for Carers Trust Wales, supporting all our children to thrive is of key importance.  Collaboration with our families is also considered essential and we are fully engaged with a range of initiatives to fulfil this aim.
